Customer Testimonials
Anyone looking for a professional, honest, fair and trustworthy rigger should look no further. It is refreshing to do business with someone who possesses qualities. Since you did such a splendid job re-rigging my 1978 Catalina 27' and installing a Furlex roller furler, when it came time to upgrade to my current boat, a 1988 Catalina 30', I looked to you for any needed rigging updates and enhancements. In fact, you completed a major upgrade to the boat with the same skill and professionalism that you had previously displayed. The addition of Seldon's roller furling/reefing main and Furlex roller furling head sail, along with many other additions has resulted in terrific sailboat that I can comfortably sail single handed. Again, my wife and I both appreciate the quality care that you provided us.

The work Paul Langelier did for me on my 1966 Alberg 35' (hull #220) was superb. A massive replacement effort was required (including a new mast and structural reinforcement, new running and standing rigging and roller furling jib) and all have performed perfectly in initial trials. Paul's willingness to work with me as a "do-it-yourself er" on a limited budget was way beyond normal expectations. I could not have accomplished such a complex re-fit job without his professional expertise and extensive sailing experience not to mention his access to materials and state-of-the-art products which made available to me for a year and a half in his yard (at reasonable or, many times, no cost to me).
I recommend Paul to anyone. I consider him good at particularly difficult jobs with complex conversion and upgrading problems.

I want to thank you for the superb job you did in completely redoing the standing and running rigging of our Norseman 447 "Ladyhawke". Your work has been first rate. The rigging has stood up well to several stressful sailing days in Buzzards Bay and the Gulf of Maine. Putting a Furlex Staysail roller furler on made it so easy to switch gears in heavy air. Redoing the rigging with Staylok fittings was the right decision. The new mainsail out haul car arrangement worked great. The rebuilt Navtec Backstay adjuster was rock solid, no more leaks and the pressure held. The new storm trysail track worked fine under test conditions (hope we never have to use it under real storm conditions). The SSB worked fine with the backstay insulators.
This past summer spent mostly in Maine we've received many compliments on how great our boat looks.
I especially appreciate the excellent working relationship we've developed together. Your patience, your flexibility and thoughtful inputs on how to do things even better has made me a vary satisfied client. Your thoughtful advice based on your extensive reinforced my belief that nothing beats communicating and working directly with the expert who is doing the actual work.
I'm looking forward to continuing working with you this fall as we get "Ladyhawke" ready for the trip South for the winter.
