About West River Rigging

Paul Langelier owner of West River Rigging has over 20 years of extensive experience as a yacht rigger. He comes to the Chesapeake area via Marblehead, Massachusetts. Paul started in the marine industry in 1980 at Hood Yacht Systems as a mast builder, building Stoway Masts, and custom masts for boats from 40' to 100'+. He also worked for Marblehead Trading Co., a full service yacht yard in Marblehead. Duties their included managing the rigging loft, commissioning new boats such as Sabre, Bristol, C&C, Hunter & Catalina. He was also rigging dept. manager for Manchester Marine another full service yacht yard in Manchester, Massachusetts. Paul is also factory trained by Navec for installation and service of Navec hydraulic systems. He is also certified by sailtec for their hydraulic systems as well.

In 1996 Paul opened his own yacht rigging business, West River Rigging in the Chesapeake area, which specializes in a full range of rigging services.
